How Do Sheeps Contribute To The Success Of Animal Farm

The characters I chose are the sheeps and in this first paragraph I will demonstrate you how they led Animalism to success. In George Orwell book, the sheeps contributed a lot to the success of the farm by their words and by theirs actions. This group of animal was not the cleverest on the farm and it reflects their actions. What ever the leader of the farm would say, they will repeat. Even not knowing the meaning of their words, they will spread the message (P.13 and P.51, the sheeps keep saying FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD or FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BETTER). In this example we can easily see that they don’t think, these phrases are antonyms… But still, those kind of words are efficient for the success of Animal Farm, because it convinces the other to think like them. …show more content…

The only think they know is that Squealer/Napoleon/Snowball has said it, so it must be true. I consider them as bright as a radio. They record something and they keep saying it. That’s really a proof of their lack of intelligence. The contribution of their actions is the same concept as their words. They’ve been told a strategy during the battle of the Cowshed and without questioning or thinking of that, they just executed the plan (P.15-16: Sheeps broke down hedges and devoured the clover… Sheeps […] rushed forward and prodded and butted the men from every side,…). Without taking conscience of the consequences, as I just said, they executed the plan. This is good for the success of AF because if they had asked questions or hadn’t executed the plan, the could have lost the Battle of Cowshed and thereby lost the possession of the farm. My chosen characters hadn’t evolved that much because throughout the story, they keep on executing/saying things they are
