The presentation by Dr. Mojola on HIV and the affect it has on the African women was outstanding. In Love, Money, and HIV, Dr. Mojola presents paradoxes and convincing arguments on the life of an African girl, and HIV. She explains thoroughly how employment, education, and wealth is the leading factor of life for the people in Africa. Many of the girls and women have to make the choices whether they choose education which could lead to employment, or find a lover at a young age and drop out of school because of money.
In the first paradox, Dr. Mojola talks about the effect of wealth. Girls in Africa tend to look for boyfriends who have money and are successful because they believe their lovers could financially support them for the present time and future. They believe if they drop out from school and just look for potential husbands, they have a high chance of becoming successful in life. This causes a great effect on the economy and allows the girls/women to have a higher chance of getting HIV due to the multiple lovers.

Mojola presented second the paradox of education. She explained how majority of the girls in Africa have a hard time completing high school without getting pregnant or being diagnosed with HIV due to two major factors. Those factors are money and relationship with other men. This also causes a great impact on the economy. With stats on how young girls who drop out from high school in south Africa have a higher chance of getting HIV than girls who have completed school, Dr. Mojola managed to prove her point on how relationships and money can easily affect school work towards the girls in Africa. Classes have been created as well to educate the young students on safe sex to prevent any contact, or infection with HIV
