You have probably read these two stories about two amazing people Mother Jones and Cesar Chavez. They were two inspiring people that fought for one thing rights for workers and child labor. By now i'm sure you've learned somewhat a lot of facts. You might be bored by now but you won't be after reading this I don’t think you’ll be as bored. In that case she had certainly thought that there jobs were dangerous especially because she had seen that some children were bone thin and had hollow chests.For example in paragraph 4, “In the South, Mother Jones had seen how dangerous their jobs were. Barefooted little girls and boys reached their tiny hands the treacherous machinery to repair snapped threads or crawled underneath the machinery to oil it.” The author Pinkerton writes about how Mother Jones started a march to the president to try to convince him to change things but the president didnt want to see her. Cesar Chavez was a union leader and labor organizer. With this in mind Cesar Chavez decided to begin an organization for farm workers.. Not only that but he also lead a march. He had a lot of supporters that supported him on every choice and idea. Cesar led people to have faith that everything will work out. In paragraph 25 the author wrote about how Chavez’s job was helping people do extraordinary things by encouraging them to have faith in themselves and no matter what there jobs were or what they were going through the could win against the great odds.
