Two years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (Blood Cancer). When hearing this I was shook, thinking “what the heck God this was never in my plan”. But this was part of God’s plan, and God’s plan is perfect. Know that what happens in our life is for a reason, we may not know that reason but we know that it is good. Cyrano’s plan of Roxane loving him did not go accordingly. He was in love with her, but unfortunately she loved Christian. They think that because they are not like everyone else they must change, but the thing they do not understand is that they are not supposed to be like everyone else. Our society has portrayed what we are supposed to look like, showing that only certain people are beautiful. Consequently, people have taken being different too far, in some instances ending their life. We must preach that everyone is beautiful, no matter race: eye color, hair color, because we are created in the image of God.
Cyrano had an obscure nose that he was very self conscious about, even though he was self conscious about his nose he was proud of it. “I carry it with pride, because a big nose is a sign of affability, kindness, courtesy, wit, generosity, and courage”(pg.37).
