Globalization in China has affected this country in many different ways from driving people out of poverty all the way to some of the worst pollution problems in the world. First what is globalization it is the interconnection between nations involving trade and easy ways of communication. Over the years China has been impoverished and a depleted nation. Entering the turn of the century though China has made a name for itself. From 1981 to 2001 China has brought 300 million people living in China out of poverty and have made a new life for their country. This has happened through the works of globalization.

Since China decided to take drastic measures to make their country a world power and an always increasing economy they have had some lasting downturn effects. These effects include a huge debt and a currency not worth as much money as other currency's compared to other world powers. This has lead to some country's not wanting to deal with China and the ways of trade.

Since the early 2000's in China they started to experience some lasting effects of pollution. These types include smog from air pollution and to many gases from people, factories, and cars. Other types of pollution include dirty water from to many people throwing products and waste into their own living areas. These are the two main types of pollution China is having to deal with and trying to find ways to cut back so their country doesn't go to ruins.

In 2001 statistic keepers for China showed results of China's population and how it is non stop growing and isn't leveling off at any point since the early 80's. They show that if China keeps on the track they are with an exponential growth in population China will eventually have such bad air levels it will decrease peoples living lives by almost 25 years. It also shows that their will be a rise in birth defects in children with a higher level of air pollution in china.
