As human we all have emotions. his short story, “The Story of an Hour” aims to help readers understand exactly what Louise Mallard’s emotions are when learning that her husband has apparently died in a train accident while Louise ends up having a disease ,soon to find out while she was trying to process her husband's death it turns out that her husband has cheated death.I will be writing about how Louise Mallard emotions change during this time of grief or happiness.
Mrs. Mallard was relieved that her husband had apparently died,why would anyone be happy that their husband or loved on had died? For some reason she was overjoyed and was happy with the news over her husband being dead. Why was she so relieved and happy did she not like her husband was she happy to be free? How is it that someone can die from being overly happy,Mrs.Mullard already had a heart disease but when she came to realization she was disappointed she wanted to be free.Mrs Mullard craved freedom.She loved the idea of being able to do things on her own and not having to pay attention to anyone else but herself.
Mrs.Mallard wanted freedom from basically everything and she loved the idea of having freedom she would just think of all the things she could do and not have to worry about anyone yet Mrs.Mullard has a heart disease, maybe she is having like a mid life bucket list where she wants to do all these things before she dies and doesn't want her husband to end up getting in her way.The title of the story refers to the short time it was that she actually felt free,so therefore the tile is The Story Of The Hour so meaning she only had a short while believing that her husband was
