The form of music media has changed a lot over time and just like that people’s preferences have changed. Back in the time of when our grandparents were young they might have used records to listen to their music with decent audio quality. The first record player was created in 1877 making it one of the most valuable devices for our grandparents. For our parents, technology had somewhat advanced, introducing the radio and cassettes, the radio was invented in 1895 making it a very useful media for our parents because they could listen to their music on the go. The only bad thing about that is that back in the day it was difficult to connect to a signal, the signals were very bad and it was difficult to find somewhere the music could be heard clearly. Now for this generation we have many platforms to use for our music for example, Apple Music and Spotify, two very popular platforms that have an unlimited amount of music you can listen to anywhere and anytime but a small monthly fee is required. Spotify was created in 2006 making it the first App where you can listen to all music and it is easy downloadable and not illegal it will also not bring viruses to your phone. Later on in 2015, Apple music was created and that got everyone very excited because whoever had iPhones did not have to download an extra app but they could just download music straight to their phone by searching it. The older age groups do not have social media and are not aware of all the new technology available nowadays. That is why it is harder to promote new ways they can listen to their music
