On the contrary, skateboarding was spread around the world by kids ripping the crate off of scooters and going no hands to ride down hills and even in old pools so they could do tricks instead. How skateboarding became a thing for the country is that business owners saw this and they wanted to make this something that they can make to sell to kids and anyone who wanted them. The text argues,”In the early 1970s, innovations in skateboard design turned skateboarding into the daring, stunt filled sport we know today,”(21). This confirms how they designed them and it went popular because of all the tricks you can now do with them. This also proves how we know about it today

This is the most inspiring documentary I have ever seen. Kevin Pearce, his family, and his friends are inspiration to us all. Kneeboarding is a water sport that I love. You are essentially skiing on a solid board, in a knelling position. After trying once more, I realized that kneeboarding has affected my life in so many ways that makes me a stronger person. Kneeboarding has made me more brave and daring in my everyday life
In this cartoon, the author illustrates how most people spend their time during the Olympics. The author shows this by having a man and woman lounging around watching the Sochi Olympics. Since the Olympics is a televised event, it is typical for people to wind up sitting back on the couch and watch the games. In this cartoon the author uses the caption “Yes, you, too can practice winter Olympic positions at home”. The author also refers to the man’s position as a position for the luge and skeleton.
The term Holocaust is now used to describe the mass genocide by the German Nazi regime during World War II. Millions of Jews and members of other persecuted groups deemed unacceptable by Hitler were tortured and murdered in the most gruesome of ways. Elie Wiesel was among the few survivors to have gone through Auschwitz, the primary death camp used by Nazi soldiers. I’m on a mountain, I just overcame my first obstacle the chair lift. Which I thought would be harder than it was I miraculously didn’t fall or knock over the other skiers/snowboarders. I glanced back up at the gleaming mountain becoming easily distracted by the flawless stroke of every turn as the pros make their way down. I say quietly to myself “Isn’t this suppose to be a beginners hill?” They have gopros strapped to their helmets and are racing each other down.

It was a cool afternoon in the frosty month of January, the time was around 5:30 pm and my dad just dropped me off at the Snow Valley hill in his black Mitsubishi Lancer. I took my blueish green Burton Custom snowboard from the back of the car, grabbed my helmet, gloves, jacket and snowpants and went to the bottom of the hill. There, I placed my board on the soft snow and put on my
