United States has always affected in global community in different ways. After World War I and World War II, United States was a superpower and made plans for the whole world but foreign politics that it followed have differences and similarities.
Firstly, after World War I, United States was the world’s leading economic power. American companies during these times took many advantages in foreign market. As a result, United States became a creditor nation. It also created a float that sailed all over the world in order to show the other countries, the power of United States. However, after the World War I ended, the democracy was not safe. Russian Revolution and communist labor union terrified many Americans. In United States started the labors strikes against public and shaped the Red Scare. Then, states guardsmen had to replace with the striking policemen. As a result, about 1,000 aliens were deported during 1919-1921.
After World War I, Wilson, who was the president of United States in that time, met the leaders of France, Britain, and Italy (called the Big Four) and gave them Fourteen Points. Then, the Big Four met in a conference in Paris to work out an agreement about Germany.

In order to limit the Soviet Union influence, United States was willing to help nation that was in risk of Soviet Union such as Greece and Turkey. This foreign strategy was called Truman Doctrine named by the president of United States Truman in 1947. After this, United States began to secure American prosperity by building an international economic and defensive network. United States goals was to achieve success in Western Europe with Marshall Plan. Through this plan, United States would invest $12.4 billion in Western Europe. In addition, during Cold War, United States created National Security Council (NSC), and the Central Intelligence Agency
