Over time, inventors and companies have been making new pieces of technology, starting in 1590 (Woodford). After this, people progressively caught on about the idea of creating new inventions and we have had huge technological advances ever since. In Bradbury’s book, he describes how the people adapt in life by making new technology (Shenoy). Some examples of this technology are the “Seashells”, and the television screens. Bradbury “wants to show people that endless television is not a substitute for literature and reading” (Shenoy). Bradbury also said that the television screens, as technology, could be used for social control of a willing population (Shenoy). In today’s world, we use technology all the time.
