Roman Art is still affecting the world today in many super duper ways. The reason Roman Art is still affecting the world is because of this. Imagine your walking through Washington, D.C., you go into some of the museums and see a sculpture of a life like person. (sometimes too life like) then you start taking pictures of it and there's that one kid who ends up climbing it and stuff, but then you remember. this style of art was first originated from Rome and they made sculptures of their emperors if they wanted one. Now you feel pretty smart don't ya. Now let's look at the awesome history of the most excellent Roman Art.
When Rome conquered Greece they adapted to their style of art. They painted and sculpted and made up cool words of how to make certain arts. The Romans were most famous for their statues, sculptures, and especially frescos. Now, back to Washington, D.C. Your in the Lincoln memorial and you are facing giant Abe Lincoln. You look to the right, then the left. You see the amazing frescoes and the life like statue obviously. The paintings are frescoes and Abe is a statue or sculpture. These styles were so cool cool, that the whole world still uses them today. They painted excellent mosaics, super duper murals, and frescos that will make you wish you lived in Rome and not in stinky central Massachusetts. In case you didn't know what these art terms are, a mural is a painting on a wall that makes you skiddly ding dong dang your pants, a mosaic is a picture made out of small glass and tile, and a fresco is just like a mural except it is painted with water colors on a wet wall and they're so cool you will have the same effect as
