BOONG BOONG!
I hear the ship's horn echo through our tiny dorm which we are sharing with 7 other people.
I can still hear the gunshots ring through my ears, the sound makes me shiver. My home town in Cabo Mexico is under attack by scary people with faces cloaked with a dusty black cloth who talk some sort of language that I would never understand. Now I am sitting in a small bed on the top bunk of our dorm looking out the small glass window at the dark wavy waters. I better get used to the smell of dirty human and the rocking of the ship every once and a while because we are headed to a pretty big place called Canada.

My mom strolled into the dorm
“No I don’t want to go there Manlea”
Who was manlea? I thought.
It looked like bricks were attached to her eyelids. Her clothes were smudged with dirt and sand and what seems like some type of chocolate colored stain run across her body. She walked towards me tripping over every dirty body and stepping on her own feet.
“Get off the bed Inderoy” she boomed in a soft whisper.
I glared at her and slowly climbed down the small ladder and tiptoed around the sleeping bodies to the doorway. I turned around and saw that my mom was already on the bed and in a deep sleep.
“I’m gonna go look around” I whispered to my sleeping mom.
She grunts and turns to her side.
I tiptoe down the long hallway quietly passing each doorway, afraid to wake anyone up. The boat is the opposite of what you may call luxurious, one the outside it’s white steel with rust running up and down the corners, and the glass windows are stained with water droplets and bird poop. All the dorms look about the same, each one has a light blue bed on the top bunk and a dark blue bed on the bottom bunk, there is a tiny bathroom with only a sink and the smallest toilet you will have ever seen. The sad part is, the small dorm is WAY bigger and MUCH more luxurious than my home in

I make a tight turn down another hallway, and another, and another until I see a door at the end of the hallway with big, bold, blue letters spelling the words
Private Captain's Quarters
I sneak closer, and closer to the door until my nose is touching the wood, I look through the small round window through the center of the door to find the captain and the co captain unconscious with a pool of blood on the floor next to both of them.
My stomach lurched as I saw a man with a black cloaked face slowly turn his head so were were eye to eye. I screamed and ran.
“MAMA!” I screamed
