Time Management is one of the hardest things for people like me to do in today’s world because of the fact that nowadays I am busier than ever. Responsibilities like going to work and going to school have become so intense that I do not have time for anything as much as I used to. Another negative effect that not having good time management has brought to me is the fact that I have been late to work and school quite a bit lately. That is why my goal for the next few weeks is to learn how to become better in time management. To learn and better understand how to have good time management I decided to look at the book, “How to Study in College” by Walter Pauk and Ross J.Q. Owens which was magnificently helpful. The book is very clear and easy to learn because of the fact that it is not emotionally biased. Another objective and I would say is the most important at of all of them would be procrastination. It occurs to too many people and there is not an answer for it. Reasons for most procrastination includes not knowing where to start, not understanding a task, and even stressing that you can’t complete the task successfully. It is believed that anxiety is the major source for where procrastination comes from. In contrast, there is a way to solve the anxiety and other procrastination problems and that would be to tackle the task early and therefore the work would be much simpler to finish. The last set of objectives and techniques that I learned in “Encyclopedia in Management” are to set your goals, meet the deadlines that are assigned to you early, and to most importantly stay organized because all will help out in the long run. Out of all of the articles that I searched on Gale I would say that this one was the most effective and the best because the purpose strongly helps out with the goal to learn how to be better in time
