I will write a composer report on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Considered by many to be
one of the greatest composers of all time Mozart grow up to compose over 600 pieces! He was
born to Leopold and and Maria Pertl Mozart on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg, Austria. Mozart
was the only solesurviving son of this couple but they did manage to have a daughter named
Maria Ann. At 7 years old Leopold began to teach his daughter how to play piano and Mozart
payed attention and began to copy the way she played even though he was only 3 years old!
He began to get a good understanding of chords and tempo and soon his father began to tutor

As a teenager Leopold kept trying to show his son's talents to as many people as
possible. At 13 he took him to Italy. While in Italy Mozart heard Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere
being performed and he wrote the entire piece by memory with little mistakes! He also wrote a
new opera in his time at Italy. He wrote two other operas in the following trips to Italy. When
they returned home Mozart was made the concertmaster and even had a small salary and
composed many pieces for piano and five for violin.
As a young adult he was getting tired and discontent with his work and he wanted to
move on to better things. He traveled with his mom to Germany and France to see if he could
better employment. Mozart had little success and was running out of money so he pawned
some of his belongs. The worst part of the trip was when Mozart's mother became ill and died.
After that he returned home and got a better position there. He then went to Vienna where he
found worked as a teacher, playing in concerts, and playing for publications. He got married
there too to Constanze, at first Leopold didn’t agree to Mozart getting married but later he
