In today’s society, we see in many different ways how people are treated unfairly especially the moment when Trayvon Martin is shot down or Freddie Gray retaliation in Baltimore. Baltimore felt the action of looting and causing chaos necessary enough to make a statement in this world. Violent protest shows an audience anger and gives off a sort of a pathos appeal in affecting numerous amounts of emotions and reactions. The only thing is, participating in a violent protest demonstrates entropy, and this can cause unconscious situations in which you hurt someone you did not mean to cause hurt to. Not to mention, the type of rage you may have towards another person or “type of person” can really be dangerous, period; and that questions the moralistic perspective of such a practice. The article titled, “Violent or Nonviolent Revolutions” describes the consciousness in having these moral value stating in one instance that “two wrongs don’t make a right.” Kicking someone when they are already down isn’t necessarily the best way to win a fight, and if someone is violating your rights in a grotesque way, why would it make it better for you to “fight fire with fire”?
