Worms and how they affect plant growth Did you know that worms can kill plants if they don't get the proper nutrients? Plants are very delicate and need great care. The plants that the project is being focused on is Kale. My project is how worms affect plant growth in (inches) .The worms I used consist of African Night Crawlers, Alabama Jumpers, and Red Wigglers. Plants are a living thing and need delicate care to grow and not die, plants do not necessarily need dead things but it's good for them to have to compost into the ground. African Nightcrawlers are long worms that are good for fishing. African Nightcrawlers are also very good at digging which makes them excellent plant composters. The plus side to the wild plants is you do not have to care for them. You can if you want to to ensure nature is healthy, but again you do not have to because nature will provide for it. House plants if you are not much of a gardener can be tough to take care of. One reason is that you simply have to remember what to do to keep the plant healthy. Second is that you have to give it the right sunlight amount each day. Third you have to water it and remember to or else the plant/plants will die or not grow. Fourth of all you have to remember to feed it proper nutrients like the following (apple cores, banana peels and on occasion eggshells. You can not feed them citrus things like oranges or lemons because that will kill the plant. Another reason houseplants are hard to take care of because they have to have the right environment to grow. If you do not have a good environment the plant will not grow it might even die. Plants are fun to watch and grow them but it is still a responsibility that you can do wrong if you do not follow the steps carefully enough. I am referring to gardeners, farmers and new people because giving its water and sun and then leaving it is not always the best thing for the plant and neither is not paying any attention to
