Have you ever had someone tell you that you can’t do something that you wanted to do? How did that make you feel? Did you end up being able to do that thing later? Well if the government takes books off of the shelves, how are we going to be able to read them? We won’t be able to read them. My book is about a boy named Huckleberry Finn and his adventures. This book might sound like just your average book, but this book is so much more. You see, Huck is a troubled boy who is forced to choose between safety and freedom. If he chooses safety, he will have no free will, but he won’t have to worry for his life. If he chooses freedom he gets to do whatever he wants, until his drunken father gets home and beats him every night. Then when his father …show more content…

I see both points of view, yet i think that one specific point outweighs the other. First let me tell you some of the things that people and websites have said about the book.

I have heard adults say that kids need more thinking ability and more deductive thinking skills. How are we supposed to do that if the adult are the ones making the decisions for us. Even if it isn’t a colossal decision that will affect our entire lives, it is still important that we get the practice in choosing between right and wrong so that we can have good deductive reasoning skills and make decisions for ourselves. We are growing up in a world that is moving fast and will swallow us whole if we are not
