Main Character Finely Jacobs, also known as Finn, was a sixteen year old who lived on a small town, named Colt River, New Jersey. Finn lived on the countryside of Colt River so she usually dressed in overalls, nothing fancy. Occasionally she would dress up, but this was a rare event. When Finn would dress up both her parents got excited and took pictures of her. Finn is characterized as a charming girl who constantly compares herself to her best friend, Chloe.

In the novel My Absolute Darling, Turtle Alveston is a character readers can love and hate at the same time. Turtle’s level of complexity as a character makes readers view her as a true breathing and living individual in the real world. The experience that Turtle lives through are the worst type of abuse a person can go through while still remaining resilient and determined to overcome her difficult obstacles. The characterization of Turtle may not be easy to understand; however, readers cannot blame her actions as it is her only manner of survival since all the odds are against her when she verbally attacks a fellow classmate. Jem and Scout are encouraged to step into other people’s shoes to gain insight into other’s lives. The kids are exposed to a harsh social understanding while also coming to know and understand the motives behind the people in their community. Scout’s father, Atticus Finch, takes on a case to defend Tom Robinson, an African American man accused of raping a white woman which leads to the struggles of the children.

Intelligence, wisdom, wit and creativity, those are a few of the traits that compose a Ravenclaw. If I were to attend Hogwarts, it wouldn’t be a very difficult decision for the Sorting Hat. I obviously would be in Ravenclaw. Those traits that I recorded that make a Ravenclaw at the beginning, I am all of those. Without a doubt I would be in Ravenclaw.
I am wise, clever, and I love to learn. Those are also the qualities of a ravenclaw, so it should make sense that I deserve to be in the house of Ravenclaw. I find myself to be very wise on a list of issues. When someone asked, “Who is the smart kid in this grade?”, they replied with ease, “Colin, of course”. Where the Wild Things are by Maurice Sendak is an interesting children’s picture book. The main character is a little boy named Max, who has a wild imagination. He uses all five senses as well as thought and his actions to express his personality as well as how he reacts and interacts with his surroundings. Max’s id, ego and super-ego are greatly shown in this book through the way that the author has portrayed him. Not only is this book a children’s story, but it can also be perceived as a life lesson.
Decide how the relationship between Scout and Boo Radley evolves providing sufficient evidence In ‘To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee, Scout develops a strange relationship with a mysterious character, Boo Radley. Scout, Jem, and Dill are interested in Boo Radley because of the mystery that dominates around him and the Radley house. The town people poorly judge Boo Radley and hearing stories from Miss Stephanie Crawford frightens Scout and Jem. Although the relationship starts out as fear and mystery, as time passes, Scout begins to realize that Boo isn’t the monster they described him as, he is rather a nice and caring person.
In these first chapters of the book I have been reading “ To Kill A Mockingbird” I am introduced to a character named Burris Ewell. Him and his family have unique personalities. For example, the Ewells act like animals compared to the people Maycomb. When Scout was in class on her first day she met Burris Ewell. She said he was “filthiest human I had ever seen.
Throughout the Harry Potter series, it can be seen that the most significant female character is Hermione Granger. The portrayal of Hermione shows Rowling believes about how women should behave as she is seen as the epitome of girl power (Pham, 2014). Her cleverness are shown throughout the series where she is seen to read and study a lot.
