Introduction
Founded by Hugo Ferdinand Boss in 1924 (Hugo Boss, n.d.), Hugo Boss is a German Company that has become the largest manufacturer of clothing for men and women in said country. Currently it is one of the most influential design houses for men‘s fashion, their merchandise is sold in more than 90 countries around the world. Their biggest market is in Germany and the second is in the United States (Reference for Business, n.d.). The company, that at first was run as family business, began making police and postal uniforms, so that later they would manufacture them for the nazis in the 30’s (The Associated Press, 1997).
