Without competition the pride in humans would deprive and the education wouldn 't be the same. The education system would require everyone to have the same knowledge. With that, if everyone one were to think and act the same, the progression of the community would come to a halt. There would be no new discovery or improvement in medicine, science, literature, etc. Without the urge to innovate or discover, a person can 't motivate themselves to achieve new thing because they know they 're not allowed.
Environmental change plays an important role in evolution. When an environmental change occurs, it can be a physical or chemical change. It can also be a gradual process such as the formation of mountains, or it can be a rapid and unexpected change, such as a natural disaster. When changes in organism’s environments occur, they must adapt to their new environment, this can cause ample amounts of selective stress and pressure on organisms, causing some species to eventually die out, while other organisms strive and evolve to be better adapted to this change.
Summary: Wessels discusses the idea of coevolution in nature and economic surroundings in this chapter. In nature he has observed that several species develop niches, which allow them to adapt to other species living in the same habitat and allow the ecosystem as a whole to thrive. Subsequently he discusses the factors that influence the level of biodiversity present in an ecosystem. The three main factors he claims are: a stable physical environment, the amount of physical structure present and the competition level present. He then applies the same characteristics and theories to the economic segment.

The Origin of Species will help prove my thesis because it introduces the ideas that we base on evolutionary biology today.
Knowledge within a discipline develops according to the principles of natural selection. How useful is this metaphor? With millions of scholars and researchers dedicating their entire lives to finding answers to the unsolved mysteries of the universe, we can only hope that our knowledge is constantly developing in a positive manner with each new discovery. From Bronsted-Lowry’s acid-base theory improving upon that of Arrhenius’ to tribes developing stronger and more efficient tools, it is reasonable to think that our current understandings of the world are greater than our predecessors. One may even argue that knowledge within a discipline develops according to the principles of natural selection.
