Hugh Gallagher wrote an essay or parody where he states that he does all this things. Gallagher did not take this college essay serious, Yet he took a risk just by sending this to an actual college where they probably thought he was just making fun of himself thinking he was funny. Gallagher would be a good candidate for a MOOC because he is a dynamic person. Gallagher is a dynamic person because everything he wrote in his essay shows he is a dynamic person, even though he doesn't do any of the things he wrote saying he did. For example in his essay he states, “often seen scaling walls and crushing ice..”
The novel “A Son Of A Mob” by Gordon Korman is about a teenage boy named Vince who lives in a irregular family. His dad is the most feared Mob boss in the town and his mom and brother are a part of the business. However, Vince doesn't want to deal with anything about business. The author uses high comedy and different elements of humor to convey the universal truth; follow your own path not others.

The Roxanne adaptation movie made a great attempt at recreating the play Cyrano De Bergerac by utilizing elements of humor. The film utilized dramatic irony multiple times throughout the play by having actors say things that differed from what the audience knows actually happened which allowed the movie to have that banter-esque feel that the play brought forth. In Jenny Allen's essay "The Trouble With Nature" humor is utilized in order to entertain and show that when you go into nature, nature comes to you. Jenny Allen uses humor throughout the article to entertain the sophisticated workers of New York by using irony and quick laughable remarks. "manicured-looking nails, like the too-long nails of the bank teller who counted out your cash yesterday" (Allen 11). This is ironic and kind of funny actually because she compares the racoon to a bank teller, but in cartoons they are usually depicted as the robbers with their black colored fur around their eyes.
