I, Pegasus, the left out colt in despair, Because I couldn’t float in the air. Everyone is flying, And I am dying, To be in the air with the others. And all of the mothers, Feel sorry for me. Then one day I decided to see If I could fly and so I climbed up a cliff And when I went to catch a ride, I found my wings were stiff! I was on the ground in an instant; And in the infirmary crying like an infant. I had broken my wing, And was the saddest thing. The doctors fixed me up, With wings that I could workup, With up in the skies, With the other guys. I am the best at everything now! And the best looking stallion in town! Now I am so pearly white, And gleaming in the light! I am now the fastest flyer in town, And I am no longer a clown!
