I Want To Be A Hokie

There are endless reasons as to why I have a desire to be a Hokie. My primary objective in attending college is to have a successful career in the future. Therefore, the first reason I want to be a Hokie is because the job placement rate out of the Pamplin College of Business is extremely high, especially for the two majors I am interested in: Accounting and Finance. My second reason is that the Pamplin College of Business is consistently ranking in the top 10% of undergraduate business programs by various publications. Third, I sense that Virginia Tech has a highly welcoming and inclusive environment on campus and fosters a feeling of community. Service is a part of who I am and, by being a Hokie, I feel that I will be able to embrace that,
