Montgomery College produced a youtube video displaying a situation in which a patient was going into septic shock, and the elements of the ICN code of ethics were displayed throughout the video (Montgomery College, 2018). The use of these elements of the ICN code of ethics allowed for the nurses to optimize patient outcomes and prioritize patient care.
