Ice Skating-Personal Narrative

I have many memories but, the one that is the most vivid is when my family and I went on vacation and went ice skating. This was the first vacation we had ever gone on as a family. My Family and I vacationed in the most elegant of nature. I thought to myself “Tennessee is so peaceful and heartwarming”. I enjoyed the way the sun shined through the trees so softly, the slight howling of the wind while it blew through my hair, and the heavy scent of oak trees in the middle of fall had me mesmerized. You know that feeling when you are so thrilled with a belly full of butterflies, this is exactly how I felt because I just knew there were so many enjoyable activities to do that I’ve never experienced.

My parents and I primarily live in Florida while my brother lives out of state in Georgia. We don’t get to spend much time with my brother very often so, this vacation was much needed. All of the laughing we did and fun experiences we had together brought us closer than ever. Now we all have memories that we could never forget. Still to this day my brother and I talk about our mother falling on the ice. I will sometimes play the video and tease my mother about it. She hates when I do that but, she doesn’t mind. She knows that my brother and I are very close. That’s why every summer we all try to take a vacation together.
Prior to going to Tennessee, I dreaded being in the cold. Now that I had a fun experience in the cold weather, I would go ice skating over and over again a thousand more times. I love the times we spend together and hate to have to say goodbye. Who ever knew that something as simple as going ice skating would bring a family closer? I loved ice skating so much that I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I can’t wait to see what this summer brings
