“So, Lesley.” My friend turned to stare at me with an expectant gaze. “Are you going to go?” How am I supposed to answer that question? What if nobody will end up going?
Premier Sportsman, Inc., is compiled of generations of hunters. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to see what hunting, fishing and nature was all about. Later, as a husband, father and grandfather I discovered what it meant to have that perfect story. That perfect hunt, a guided trip, up in the hills with my buddies, in a drift boat on the Kenai or Columbia River... Creating and capturing memories are what is important to us at a Premier a Sportsman, Inc.
Kneeboarding is a water sport that I love. You are essentially skiing on a solid board, in a knelling position. When I was younger I had a near death experience with kneeboarding that made me terrified to kneeboard. After trying once more, I realized that kneeboarding has affected my life in so many ways that makes me a stronger person. Kneeboarding has made me more brave and daring in my everyday life
“You two, get the ball down the pool and take a shot, just make sure it’s inbounds, don’t worry if you miss the goal, Kenzie will get the rebound.” My coach has barked these orders on numerous occasions throughout the year and it has never failed to give me a little thrill inside. As an athlete that tends to go unnoticed, getting acknowledgement in such an offhand way is pretty exciting. It shows me I have a place on the team, a job that my team depends on me to do. Water polo is a very difficult sport.
One of the most predominant experiences to me would be when I won a winter guard competition. It is absolutely one of the most unbelievable experiences to hear you guard's name over the speaker for everyone to hear while a judge gives your captains a trophy with a big #1 on it. Everyone was in unmitigated shock when they heard our name because when we first started, we all weren't really that skilled. Actually, most of my guard was first-year rookies. They had never even picked up a flag before this.
WSTC formally known as Wayland Swim and Tennis Club isn't just a swim club to its members. It serves as a summer home for them. The light brown curvy pathway leads directly to the old wooden sign in tabel. The table has lost a leg, but it still stands there every year welcoming anyone who reaches it. Names are etched into the table from years prior adding a sense of charm to what some might call junk.
I moved from Lawrence to Methuen in Massachusetts. It was towards the end of 2nd grade. I was about 7 or 8 years old. My parents bought their first house in Methuen. We lived in a 3 family house before.
The day was cold and gray, no sun. In a place called, Yukon Trail, Alaska, it was fifty degrees below zero. The begging start with a man that decides to take a walk, the time passed and he meets a dog. He thought he would make it back on time because he is meeting with his friends. That was the begging of the story, but neither of them knew what would actually happen.
In December, my family and I went skiing in Colorado. We like to go see our family, and participate in winter sports. Our two favorite sports are tubing and skiing. When we arrived at Colorado there were ten inches of snow on the ground. We had a choice to go back to my grandparent’s house or go tubing and then go back.
Trey #4 One day I was standing in line to buy a snow globe. When I picked it up, then flash I was stuck in the globe it was very scary. When I tried to get out I pushed the door but it was frozen shut. So I turned around there was a very beautiful village.
The entire club reserved rooms at the same motel. As each couple arrived, the men would unload the machines, unhook and park the trailers. We then went into town for dinner, usually by car. The snowmobile maps would end up on the table and the men would plan the trip for the next morning.
In the month of October, I was in attendance for two sporting events. One of these events was a male sporting event and the other was a female sporting event. When attending these events I made sure to analyze all areas of my experience. I paid particular attention to the facilities, the marketing and promotions that I came across along the way, and different details about the crowd during the games. While overall I had a pleasant experience at both events, I did notice some room for improvement which I will discuss later.
The Sport is a devastating road to heartbreak and failure. (I suggest, To experience sports, you have to experience heartbreak and failure - sounds a bit awkward to say “the sport”). It is the definition of it. Don't get me wrong, sports can lead to success, fame, and many other glorious things that others can't imagine. Like the money, land and the "acquaintances"
One of the things in my life that have challenged me is my first time on a roller coaster. It all started when one summer we decided we were going to go on vacation to Salt Lake City. We would try and find an amusement park to go to. We found one named Lagoon. We got there and they had a lot of roller coasters.
It was quite Monday in spring, a normal day but for me and my team it was a big day. It was the day we started training for the important race; the race decide which track team was the best in the city. My teammates are, George, Aron and Dylan. We have been working hard because we lost the championship last year it would be good for us to come out this year and win the championship.
