Kansas Bound On May of 2010 I went to Kansas City, MO to see my Grandma. This was my first long car ride since I can remember , nine hours going speed limit. First, we were in the rough side of Kansas, mostly because we lost signal and got lost. We couldn’t look out the side of the window or there was a fifty fifty chance we may or may not get shot.
We stayed there until the spring of fifth grade. Know I live in my still incomplete house on Glen Dr. Looking back to my childhood (well I still am a child), some good memories are with my mother in the spring sitting on our porch drinking coffee. Yes, I have drank coffee since I could sing, because my mom made us sing for a sip of coffee. We would also watch the storms come in on our porch because my mom has always loved storms and it is something that I enjoy with her.
Getting down to Nebraska was harsh and the trail was dusty. The children like me had to take care of the animals. Jim, Antonia and myself became really good friends after living next door to each other for a while and we do everything together. When I work, I help my dad to plant and harvest crops and hunt for food. We planted and harvested corn, potatoes, pumpkin, wheat, peas, carrots and tomatoes.
Around 200t the house was painted with much lighter colors and the entire appearance of the house and the vibe it gave completely changed. Around the Second to my bedroom I spent the most amount of my time in childhood
I could not take it anymore. My choices were to either pick up the phone or do something I could never take back. I picked up the phone and dialed the number of The Trevor Project lifeline, it was time for me to help myself. “Hello, Trevor Lifeline.” “Hi,” I said.
In austin so I started 6th grade and we moved again but this time by some train tracks and I went to school at Paredes. For half a year then went to a school closer to my house called fulmore for a few months then back to Paredes to finish sixth. Then we moved up north to brownie Dr and I went to Dobie for 7th grade. Half ways through the year I moved back with my dad but when summer came along back to my mom 's . Then 8th went to Paredes with my cousin for half a year then moved back north on metric to edge creek apartments and moved to Burnet middle school.
In my freshman year, I made a choice to relinquish some of my social life and replace that time giving back to my community. I joined a non-profit organization called the Volunteer Corp. We spent our time at food banks, park clean-ups, and even hosting local events. This experience left a lasting impression on me in many ways; however, one experience changed my perspective on life and serve as a constant reminder of how the smallest contribution to others can be the most powerful. St. Joseph University, in Philadelphia, held an event called Hand in Hand. It was an event dedicated to raising awareness for people with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Once upon a time when I was younger I used to live in Lincolnton and I went to G.E. Massey. I was in the first grade. I was living with my Aunt Tammy at the time because my mother was living with my grandfather and so was my older sister. After I moved onto the 2nd grade I moved in with my pawpaw and my mother because my sister moved with our dad. Me and my mom shared a room but most of the time I wouldn’t see her because when she got home from work during the night she would go right to bed.
I loved that condo. I loved every stick of furniture. That was my whole life. Everything, the lamps, the chairs, the rugs, were me. The plants were me.
I woke my brothers and told them to get up and look out the window. After eating Chick-Fil-A we checked into our condo. It looked and felt so homey. The living room had a huge glass sliding door which opened and looked out over the ocean. When you walked out there was a deck you could stand on and look out into the water.
I still remember every detail of the house we lived in. You had to walk up 12 stairs to get to the porch, it was pretty much my daily exercise. When you walk in the front door and look straight ahead, you can see the living room, dining room, and kitchen. When you get to the dining room, and take a right there
Moving into the house was difficult because from moment one my first day at the house was bad. When I went
I have had tough hope once, I had to move to a different state and start to get used to the new place. Moving was hard and took a long time to move everything to our new house. My new house was hard to get used to because it was different and I wasn 't used to it which made it hard to sleep and I had to leave my friends behind and I would have to find new friends. Making new friends was hard because I would be alone until I found new friends and I would have no one to talk to so I would be very quiet. Usually I would always be talking to a friend and I am only social with friends.
Ever since we moved when I was two, we have lived in Morningside very close to East High School. It is a three-bedroom house with two bathrooms and a big backyard with a pool. My sister and I each got our own room and we had a huge basement for space to play. My neighborhood has always been full of older people besides two boys my age who live across the street.
Then my Mom and Dad started building are old house in rolling meadows but that was the wrong thing to do. We moved two houses after that one and now we live in the house I have been living in for 3-4-5 years. I love spending time with my family and doing things with them whenever I get the chance. And one more thing I can´t wait for is my new baby brother Cruse coming in in
