Political ideologies have served as a foundation for modern day governments, and provided a set of guidelines help maintain social and economic needs of the people. Classical liberalism and conservative liberalism are two examples of ideologies that influenced modern day government. However, society during the birth of these ideologies contains little or no similarities to modern day society.
