Igbo Paper In November, the Israeli government granted just about 10,000 Ethiopians that are said to have a jewish bloodline, the right to convert to Judaism and become legal citizens of Israel. By forcing them to convert, this showed that the military had political power and were in complete control. This is along the lines of what is happening today. They barely have any natural resources that they can live off of. They lack the supply of fresh honey and milk, something that is usually really easy to access.(Onyedimmakachukwwu Obiukwu) Since the move, the citizens have been protesting against police brutality and racism.(Onyedimmakachukwwu Obiukwu) They are trying to fight back for what they think they deserve, freedom and to be treated equally. They are now struggling with completing tasks that are usually involve little to no labour or effort. Now, it is tough work trying to get food to eat that was so abundant where they used to live. They are acting out to get attention by beating cops, starting riots, and protesting. They are acting out of control. Ethiopians have been said to be getting 35 percent and the majority of the population, half, get an education for himself and a diploma. 63 percent is the amount of people that don't get a proper education or drop out of school. They don't want the land just because they were offered it, they want it because that is where almost all of their ancestors were born and originated from. It means more to them in a sentimental value type way. Corruption occurs when not everyone is on the same page in the government or having to do with the government. ICPC and EFCC have both addressed and confronted the idea of corruption and have tried to put their forces together and come up with a way to make everything normal again. (Oduah, Chika.)
