In the book Im gald my mom died by jennette mccurdy The actor Jennette McCurdy had to deal with alot of struggles while acting from when she was a kid to when she becomes an adult. Jennette McCurdy lived with a narcissistic mother who forced her into child acting which lead to het developing problems that she would have to overcome later in life. Jennette felt like she had to say yes to acting because she felt like her job was to make her mother happy so she went along with it.
