1) Immigrants can gain access to the service they need by applying themselves. With application to the world, the immigrants are putting themselves out there, making their place in the world. With this, people will recognize them and give them the help they need whether it 's for job, families, food and etc. 2) Newcomers need skills of being social, communicative, strong, confident and outgoing. These are essential for them to earn a post in America. 3) Immigrants may be scared and confused when asking for help from an outsider. They might not understand how to help. If they do help, it would be hesitant overall to accept their help- not knowing what to say or do.
