Every country has it own rule on immigration. I personal think that illegal immigrant should be given amnesty so that government official could know who they are and also keep and good eye on them. Many illegal immigrants fee their own country to come to U.S for a better life and some come to be comment criminal activates and for those reason I don’t think they should get a driver’s license but I do think they should serve in the military to became a citizen in the united
Hundreds or thousands immigrates legal or illegal come to the United States for jobs. Some immigrates come because they need money for their family and other's come because they want to danger us. Immigrates should be allow to come to the United States because they're better jobs there ,and also they need money for their family. For example, many immigrates struggle to pay for their family needs and it's really hard because I had a friend that her parents had to move to the United States for better jobs. Her parents couldn't pay the bills in Mexico so the only way to get money and better jobs are in the United States.
The Democratic-Republicans help the common man, with immigrants being among the most humble of them. We have sailed from Europe to America; we are all immigrants or the descendants of immigrants. Immigrants have helped us build our country, carving out farms in the forlorn wilderness. They have fought side-to-side with us in our war for independence and freedom. Many immigrants come to America for freedom, escape from oppressive blue-blooded despots.
Why do we not have slaves in America anymore? Why are children not allowed to work? Why are women allowed to work? America has an important labor history. From the efforts to gain freedom for slaves, to the strikes during the industrial revolution, to providing equal chances for men and women, many citizens have fought for what they believed was morally correct and best for the laboring people.
Immigration bring great benefits. Without immigration, the population would stop growing, The goal is to keep it stable, not to get rid of all of it completely. Immigration keeps the population and also the economy growing. But when massive amounts of people are immigrating to America, it becomes overwhelming to some people. The government must slow down the process of immigration soon.
There is no reason they shouldn’t be allowed to create a better life for themselves here. With war, abuse, and terrorism happening in many foreign countries many have to flee. When they do so, they look for a country that has freedom and job opportunities so that they can care for themselves and their families. The United States is a country that supports these ideas. For example, Kristhell Alvarez wrote a letter on letters2presidents.org Why Immigrants Should Be Allowed to Stay in the United States.
In recent discussions of illegal immigrants, a controversial issue has been whether to boot them out or let them stay in our country. On the one hand, some argue that we should allow them to come into our country because they believe we have the resources. On the other hand, however, others argue that we should not allow them to come into our country. My own view is if the immigrants learn our culture and how we do things in this country, and if the immigrants learn how to speak English and put some effort into making a new life and getting a job I don 't see what the problem
What makes someone American isn’t just blood or birth but allegiance to our founding principles and faith in the idea that anyone--from anywhere--can write the next chapter of our story, quoted from our current president, Barack Obama. It is said that America is a land of immigrants, but why are they not allowed into the U.S today? America loses opportunities to become a better place, because our immigration reform constantly turns down citizenship applications, from people who want to make a difference in America. If these applications continue to be turned down, families will be torn, the economy will be broken and futures will never become a reality.
According to a study released last year by the Pew Hispanic Center, as of 2008, 11.9 million illegal immigrants lived in the United States, more than triple the 3.5 million who lived in the country in 1990 (Izumi). Immigration throughout the years has become a major issue in the U.S because of too many immigrants entering the country year after year. The U.S has come to a point whether they should deport the immigrants back to their country. Believe it or not, these immigrants are a big contribution to the U.S. If it wasn’t for them, the U.S economy wouldn’t be where it stands now.
Although illegal immigrants do pose some benefits to our country the benefits do not outweigh the negatives. The tax burden that these illegal immigrants is footed by the American taxpayers which can be hurtful to the
Since they arrive they’re forced to jump through the hoops of the United States Government knowing any sort of lapse in judgement could result in them being forced to leave the country. In my own experience immigrants are the most hardworking people in this country, for instance my old supervisor worked two full time labor intensive jobs to support his family. Not many people could handle that much work, but he can among many others due to knowing that that sort of opportunity exists here. Most immigrants don’t leave their home country because they hate it; they leave because they want a brighter future for themselves. Whether that’s from pursuing education or working hard day in and day out, immigrants bust their asses in order to live here.
Unlike legal immigrants who have paid their dues and contribute to the economic coffers, illegal immigrants often times receive government handouts without actually contributing to the economy. These illegal immigrants are also more likely to get paid “off the books” which creates a drag on the U.S. economy (Rector). If immigrants are legally allowed to work in the U.S., then I will completely support their efforts to find
Immigrants are a good thing for America and should be granted citizenship unless they are causing trouble. Some housekeeping jobs and yard work is done by immigrants, both documented and undocumented. Immigrants are useful in the Labor Market. Between 7-8 million of the illegal immigrants
Another argument is that immigrants are a huge part in Americans economic growth. Some people argue that them increasing our population is a good thing. Also, payed taxes increase social security and the expands the federal budget. They cause for the economy to boost and their culture expands along with ours and people get to experience different cultures. If you go to a hospital, there are a good bit of the doctors and nurses that are of a different ethnic group or immigrants as we call them.
Immigration has always been a crucial topic in the United States government. Especially when it comes to giving amnesty and passing an immigration reform to 11 million immigrants, that live in the country. Many citizens believe that immigrants are detrimental to the well-being of the United States and do not agree with the passage of an immigration reform. One reason is that many believe immigrants take away the jobs of American citizens. Other reasons are that immigrants bring crime to the country and affect the economy.
