. I manage my autonomy face by always making my own decisions and not allowing anyone to influence what I do. For example, I don’t let no one tell me what I should and shouldn’t do and I also don’t let anyone influence what my decisions. I only use my competence face when it comes to work because I don’t like to feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. When I started working as a CNA I didn’t know how thing work and always had to take orders from other CNAs. Now I know how things work where I work at, and I don’t let them treat me like I’m a new guy anymore. They both now respect me and they don’t see me as a dumb guy. I manage my three identities by using them only when need it, for example, I only use my autonomy face when someone is trying to make a decision for me. I kind of put my serious face and tell them that I will decided and that they can’t make a decision for me. When I do this I am somewhat true to myself because I like to be a friendly person and I really don’t like to argue with anyone, but when it comes to someone deciding something for me, I really don’t tolerate that. I also only use my competence face at work because I don’t like to be treated like a dumb person that doesn’t know anyone. I also feel the need to be respected because sometimes people want to treat me like I don’t know anything since I don’t really talk too much. I also like when people think that I don’t stand up for myself because they try to treat me like I’m a weak person, but when they start doing that, it’s when I stand up for myself and show them that I don’t like to be disrespected. I always use my fellowship face everywhere I go, so I can fit in with everyone and be like by everyone, even though I know that there are always going to be some people who won’t like me.
