Setting goals are a very important aspect of life. Goals aid tremendously in living a successful life by keeping one motivated, and are very easy to set. I have set multiple goals I would like to accomplish within the next five years. Many of these goals are school related; however, some relate to my health. Either way, by accomplishing these goals I will be able to live a successful and happy life. The number one goal I would like to accomplish within the next five years is graduate from college with a software engineering degree. This goal is important to me for many reasons. I have always enjoyed running because it is a great way to stay healthy, and I think it is fun. Running 5 kilometers in under 20 minutes is something I have never been able to do. So far, the closest I have come is around 22 minutes. I have found it to be difficult to work on this goal during winters. It is too cold to run outside, and I find it very challenging to push myself on treadmills. Hopefully by setting this goal, I will be more motivated to work towards it. By achieving this goal, I will be healthier as well as feeling a sense of accomplishment about achieving this goal. The fifth goal I have set for myself is to procrastinate less. I wouldn’t consider my procrastination to be a huge problem, but by procrastinating less I’m sure if will see an increase my grades. Procrastinating less will help me accomplish my other goals. There is a greater likelihood of me graduating if I don’t procrastinate. Also, my GPA will be higher by not procrastinating, which may aid in finding a job. All in all, procrastinating less will make achieving my other goals much easier, and I will work hard until this
