Heller: Nursing education should include traditional courses, genetic research, and alternative medicine. Though nursing school is already long enough, the unconventional nursing courses could provide students with a greater ability to think outside of the textbook. I also severely agree that having a communications course would really help our program. Another connection to my time at WVU, my communications course was amazing and really taught me how to get out of my rural farm life bubble; while watching the other students in the program present to our class and the middle school last year I could tell a dissimilarity between our abilities to relay
I chose Research College of nursing Accelerated BSN Program because of the reputation Research has for training skilled, well prepared nurses. I am sure that if given the opportunity, I will excel in this program, as well as in the nursing field. I'm passionate about nursing and I have a lot that I can offer the healthcare field. Combined with naturally caring, I'm highly enthused, gifted, and work well in high stress atmospheres. My desire for this career field is a big stimulus for me, and I am devoted to prosper in it.
As a hopeful future undergraduate at IUPUI, I am eager to participate in the nursing program. Currently I am taking a class at my high school that will allow me to become a certified nursing assistant if I pass the state exam. Although I have only started this school year, I can tell that I have found my passion through nursing. With this simple goal, I plan to focus on my school work and dedicate my time at IUPUI. Besides the school aspect, I also want to participate in numerous extracurricular activities offered.
Nevertheless, I applied to the University of Texas at Arlington’s nursing program and was accepted in Fall 2014. That opened the doors to countless opportunities for me to find my spark. Through my lectures and clinical rotations, I was taught that being a nurse meant ensuring the safety of every patient and working arduously to maintain their quality of life. With that principle in mind, I practiced my skill as a nursing student on every unit that I was assigned to.
As I progressed through my coursework at college and furthered my experience in healthcare, I soon realized that my aspirations went beyond simply earning a nursing degree. I yearned for a program that would not only provide a top-notch education, but also offer unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. Looking forward, NYU’s objectives and values perfectly align and relate to me more than ever. I strongly believe that NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing will, without a doubt, help me reach my fullest potential and succeed as an individual in school and beyond. The reason why I chose to go to school for Nursing is because of my mother, Charlotte Anthony. My mother is paralyzed from waist down. I have been helping her since I was nine years old. I have helped her bathe, get dressed, and get in and out of the bed. My experience with her has taught me a lot.
First, we are clinicians to which these patients seek for our expertise to address their health problems. Secondly, we are diagnosticians whereby we seek the underlying causes of our patient’s health issues. Third, we are educators to which we help our patients cope and understand their health conditions. My passion for nursing practice defies description; leading to the reason I am opting to pursue a higher level of education in nursing. The George Washington University School of nursing has one of the highly ranked master’s programs in the country, which offers a competitive curriculum and highly defined leadership skills that integrates technology into learning. It is therefore my desire to pursue an advance education at this facility because it prepares practitioners to become great clinicians ready to solve real-world clinical problems. Moreover, the opportunity to pursue a degree in this facility will afford me the ability to be a competent and highly efficient family nurse practitioner; that will serve the community and mostly the underserved. I am the last child in a family of eight that has aspired to pursue my education at the graduate level.
The strong Lutheran foundation at Valparaiso University that prepares students to lead and serve in the community. In addition to the church, and society offers me the opportunity to pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. The university's foundation and family-centered focus make it a great place for work-study. Although no one ever suggested that my journey to become a Registered Nurse would turn out to be a faith-based journey, I transitioned from Medical Assistant to Registered Nurse in 2017. I enrolled in an LPN program with only 12 weeks until graduation, but the school closed with no further information.

My goal is to be the safest nurse I can be and deliver a high quality of care to all of my patients. I would want the same if I was the patient. I want to grow my career and achieve my nurse practioner degree. I chose UAB School of nursing to advance my education for the convenience of having all online classes and the campus being available if I need to access it.
My Intent to Be a Nurse Practitioner Coming from a third world country where there aren’t many opportunities for work and funding for education, proceding to nursing school was a grand opportunity. The privilege to attend a government subsidized school where top students in the region compete to get into the program that allowed only 60 students per year was indeed a blessing. As clinical rotations began, what was once considered a mere opportunity evolved into a true passion for caring as I truly love and enjoy nursing and helping people.
I just completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and look forward to exploring nursing theory, evidence-based practice and leadership even further in the advance practice curriculum. I am pursuing family nurse practitioner because it will allow me to be more versatile in my nursing skills and serve a larger patient population. There has been a focus on primary care medicine since the Affordable Care Act; resulting in a larger need for nurse practitioners required to care for this patient population. I have been granted an opportunity to advance my career and I am more than ready to take on the added responsibilities and handle treatment plans autonomously, as well as learning additional skills such as diagnosing and prescribing medications. By obtaining my graduate level education my clinical judgment would be enhanced to improve safety, quality of care and patient outcomes substantially.

Furthermore, NYU College of Nursing’s clinical experiences has one of the most effective balances of on and off campus learning experiences. Lastly, NYU students are known for their level of excellence in scoring more than 90 percent on the NCLEX licensing exam on their first attempt.
This upcoming year I will be attending Goodwin College located in East Hartford. I am currently perusing a degree in Nursing. I believe that nursing is a great profession that will allow me to grow as a student and assist me in my future goals. I am passionate about caring for others and helping people become the best when they are at their worst. I would love to change our community and help people regain confidence.
Career Goal I have a few career goals such as becoming an ER registered nurse and a nurse practitioner but fist I want to be an ER registered nurse. For a long time now I could just envision myself in the blue scrub running out to the ambulance as the EMT rushed the patient into the hospital. And successfully collaborating with a team of people to save someone's life.
