A Second Chance Second chances are a wonderful thing everyone should have. I know that this starts with my own life. “Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” Carl Bard’s quote is exactly how I feel on the subject. I know that people make mistakes; it’s not what they did but how they fix it and what happens after.

Like this quote I have heard a lot throughout my life, I too believe that life always gives you second chances, but they are given for a reason; for change. People makes mistakes. Let’s face it, we are humans and we are not perfect. I expected a lot of response from a lot of people when I asked them If everyone deserves second chances. Some might agree that there is an extent to which second chances are given. Second chances are building blocks in life. If people did not make mistakes, there would be no need for second chances. Everyday people are faced with opportunities. Whenever I am given opportunities to voice my opinion, I always think of the consequences I passed up. I feel that this experience has opened my eyes to opportunities that are taken for granted by other people. Nothing in life is ever guaranteed. I think that people should take that into consideration. People are bound to make mistakes, but making mistake without regard is selfish. My appreciation for second chances has been applied in every situation that I have been presented. It is very important to advise others of the lessons you have learned through your entire life. Many people can benefit from the knowledge of your past experiences. We are presented by this chances in our daily life. Forgiveness is a value that is fundamental to human relationships. I think that once you give a second chance, it is a friendly and kind gesture. Unfortunately, second chances are not always given. I believe that the pros outweigh the cons when it down to second chances. I think that everyone should take the advantage of their second chance and try to change to be better. That is why I believe that everyone should be given a second chance. If you want to lead your life successfully and happily, be alert and prepared to hear the call of the opportunity that may come at any moment.
