Soft skills - we know we need them but how do we develop them?

Leadership, creativity, collaborative mindset, fast-learning abilities all this skills will be more and more valued in tomorrow’s workplace. While an increasing part of technical knowledge are automated and the hard skills required for company’s success are ever-changing, most critical soft skills remain relatively constant and are transferable to any job. 10 years ago, computer literacy was specifically required on job ads today this skills are assumed but the ability to learn fast new knowledge on the fly are still key to career success. Soft skills are crucial for the labour market and start being included in school curriculum in many countries in order to increase the student’s job readiness. …show more content…

As a CEO, I have tried to create opportunities for my employees to develops theses skills, let me share some of my experience.

Soft skills what are there?
First it is important to define what are softs skills. Wikipedia define soft skills has followed:

“Soft skills is a term often associated with a person 's "EQ" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster of personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, etc. that characterize relationships with other people. Soft skills contrast to hard skills, which are generally easily quantifiable and measurable (e.g. software knowledge, basic plumbing skills).”
