Other important virtue I have learned from this class is patience. Very few people realize how important it is to put in as much work as us necessary to achieve the result they desire. Those who realize this virtue are really fortunate. From the very beginning they can build the foundation for themselves. They learn to love their work and do not mind spending any amount of time and effort on it. They bring their work to completion with great patience. Doing one’s work well is its own reward. I was taught in school that there are many situations in everyday life where one requires moral courage. If for example a friend of mine decides to steal a set of question papers. They tell you about their plan and ask you to join them. Knowing that it is wrong to steal, yet if I refuse to join I’ll lose their friendship. In these kinds of situations what would one do? I was taught that it requires great moral courage to do what I think is right in spite of the risk of losing friends or danger of them not liking me back. Thus, by refusing to do the wrong things, I may lose my friends or get into trouble. Yet I must be strong enough to do what I think is right. School has taught me that a person who has the moral courage to do the right thing in the face of opposition will always be respected, admired and remembered by everyone.
