We see hate between many people in the book, such as Jem hating Mrs. Dubose. We also see love in To Kill a Mockingbird. We see love when Scout shows love for her father when people were calling him a black person lover and she stood up for him. Some examples are: police, fire fighters and even doctors. Police officers show us great bravery when they are called to a shooting. Police officers are trained to be brave and to not show that they are scared. When police officers are called to a robbery they have no idea if someone is still in the house. They could turn the corner and all of a sudden there could be someone standing right around the corner with a gun. Police officers definitely show us how to be brave and to help others and our friends out. One example that really got to me was when all the neighbors were going inside Miss. Maudie's house getting all the furniture out. This goes back to the brave firefighters that our in our world.
