Controversy. It's been a thing forever but wasn't really pick upon till the 1800 when people finally realized what's wrong. Of course people don't wish to change their old way, and others want to make everything anew. This is where the debatable topic on Indian Gambling happens. Should there be a limit to it? No, how the natives are currently taking care of this situation is completely fine. In the history of Indian Gambling the US government has had a huge hand in the activities that occur. In the 1970’s tribes were allowed to open up bingo halls and in hopes of raising additional funds (English, Casinos are a Benefit). Once seeing that the Natives were accumulating money the government tried to make a stop from them making anymore money. But in a court case in 1979 it is stated that the state's government has no power behind prohibit Gambling (English, Casinos are a Benefit). By having the casinos and bingo halls open the Natives finally have an income coming towards them 100% of the time. Also on the reservations there is a bias when they hire employees for the casinos, primarily if a native american needs a job vs a white man.
