The Industrial Revolution

The Industrial Revolution was an increase in production brought about by the use of machines and characterized by the use of new energy sources began in England from the late 1700’s to sometime between 1820 and 1840. The Industrial Revolution have many positive effect on many people. Andrew Ure thought the children enjoyed working at the factory. Even though many people did die because of diseases but it show us we needed to improve our manufacture. Leon Faucher also thought the condition of the English faculty town were the cleanliness which indicates order and comfort.

Andrew Ure thought the children enjoyed working at the factory. In Document 3, it states that “ they seemed to be always cheerful and alert, taking pleasure in the light play of their muscles.” This proves that the children loved working in the factory. Andrew Ure also says, “As to exhaustion, they showed no trace of it on emerging from mill in the evening; for they began to skip about.” Leon Faucher also thought the condition of the English faculty town were the cleanliness which indicates order and comfort. As it’s stated in Document 6 “ the young women are well and decently clothed, the houses inhabited by the work people form long and large streets.
