Overall, I feel the benefits of this transformation produced more positive benefits than negative ones toward the future of America. Socially, it laid the foundation of our workforce and paved the way for the entertainment that we enjoy. Politically, it emphasized the need for different viewpoints when choosing someone to represent our country. It would give the average citizen a chance to have their voice heard in the running of their country. Economically, the Industrial transformation of America, was the backbone to the economic growth that helped America become one of the world’s superpowers. As I stated above, the industrialization transformation of America happened over several centuries and I believe it is still happening today. “The Industrial Revolution was not indeed an episode with a beginning and an end. To ask when it was ‘complete’ is senseless, for its essence was that henceforth revolutionary change become the norm. It is still going on; “ (Hobsbawn, p.29) There are new innoventions being created daily and new ideas to better streamline our working practices. In 50 to 60 years, it will be interesting to look back at everything invented and produced from this time period. In my opinion, the industrialization transformation of America was one of the greatest events in our history as a
