Inequality In George Orwell's Animal Farm

436 Words2 Pages
A society is a large group of people who live together in an organized way, making decisions about how to do things and sharing the work that needs to be done, however not always is it quite as fair as such. Meaning a society that has social classes and inequality. One group featuring this is in George Orwell’s novel, Animal Farm. The animals create a society that uses social class causing inequality for the lower classes through not getting the same supplies, getting lesser education, and being forced to work much harder than those of upper classes.

The animals, even early on, notice that they are not receiving the same privileged supplies as the pigs. For instance, in chapter three, the others notice that the milk from the cows goes missing.
