When it comes to politics there are many arguments and different beliefs that come along with it. There are many things around us we don’t realize that affect our beliefs. Our political beliefs and actions are influenced by our age, religion, gender, labor unions, education, race/ethnicity, and geography. I am influenced by many factors that I had no idea about. Racism has always been in the United States and I don’t think it will ever go away. As a country we have been somewhat able to limit racism. But ever since Donald Trump became president racism has started to increase again. My mom and I are two very proud latinas who are grateful to be citizens of this country, but yet every time we go out in public with my step-dad and baby brother …show more content…
My mom notices that I want to say something to them but she tells me to calm down and be the bigger person, and those people can have a bitter life while they are being racist and get into other people’s business. So based on that I would engage myself with more politics and pick the right person that I believe will help increase my income and not put this country in a greater debt that it already is and preventing another Great Depression. The last thing that can change my views is politics is my job. If I do decide to go to college I will take classes that have to relate to criminal justice and later on I can become an FBI Agent. Being an agent will highly affect my views because it’s a government job and it’s filled with secrets from the public, so if they do certain decisions and the people get upset because they think it doesn’t benefit them, they may be wrong because it will help them later on. That information will give me a deeper look into what politics do in order to keep the people
