Chicago pizza was invented at pizzeria uno in Chicago of 1943 Chicago style pizza is baked in a round steel pan and is known best for their deep dish pizzas the thick layers of toppings such as cheese stuffed crust used for deep dish pizza and requires a longer baking time.

New York style pizza started in the early 1900’s.The original pizzerias in New York used coal brick ovens and baked there pizza with the cheese on the bottom and sauce on top the New York style pizza is hand tossed and the sizes of the pizzas are usually about 18in and consists of about 8 slices.
