Between the years of 1972-1978 there was a string of murders that involved over 33 young men. This man named John Wayne Gacy was also nicknamed the Clown Killer for his activities in the community. Gacy was a very different person, who lived a very hard childhood, that led him to become the monster that he was. John Wayne Gacy was born in 1942 where he lived in a working class neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. His father John Gacy Sr. was a very difficult man to deal with.
Even though it lacked in the sense of logos, it is just a movie for entertainment purposes. In today’s world not all movies need to have logic to keep audiences amused. Any motion picture has its illogical aspects, otherwise they would be dull. This movie proves that with right amount of pathos and ethos, you can lure in a tremendous audience for years to

Horror stories generally and naturally scare people, but that doesn’t mean that the story is that frightening. The stories get into people’s nerves and they start thinking deep inside about what can happen, but not necessarily about the story, they start thinking about themselves and their live. Sometimes the horror stories are not scary like monstrous and ghosts, they are realistic and several people can identify themselves with the story. Writers uses smart ways to keep readers reading. It needs a good and smart critical thinking to write down the facts and certain events.
Do ethnically related mascots truly need to be changed in the world of sports? Most would respond with a resounding “Yes,” arguing that names such as “Redskins” and “Chiefs” are derogatory, and need to be removed. On the other hand, others argue that these mascots show pride and dignity towards America’s past history. The debate on whether or not it is appropriate to name sports teams after native and foreign groups of people, has become a tremendous debate, but the side with a more cogent argument, is the side that supports the keeping of particular mascots.
The people in Kemper County, Mississippi have had enough of the clown craze going on throughout the U.S. these past couple of weeks that the Board of Supervisors called for an “anti-clown ordinance” (White par. 2). The ordinance is to remain in progress until November 1st for the safety of the people on Halloween night and before that (White par. 3).
When most people, myself included, hear the word rodeo they immediately think of horses being ridden by old cowboys at a state fair. After an interview with Brady, the new rodeo club advisor, however, I learned that there’s a lot more to the sport than meets the eye. For Brady and the members of rodeo club, rodeo is not just a sport but a lifestyle, and a passion that takes dedication and enthusiasm for the many events rodeo has to offer. The club, which meets once a week, has fifteen members that Brady says “...are like one big giant family.” Members can either compete in rodeo events, such as barrel racing and team roping, or they can be representatives that help with safety at events and gather sponsorships.
Define being brave; it means to endure or face unpleasant conditions without showing fear. Being a coward is defined as being a person who lacks the courage to do or face unpleasant things. These are not opposites. Since The Red Badge of Courage has been published in 1895, by Stephen Crane, it as been highly debated whether Henry should be defined as a hero or as a coward. It is perceived by the reader that Henry can be idealistic, self-absorbed, childish, and even confident or brave at times.
Spooky things exist to feed off people’s emotions. People normally view these spooky things using a set rules or scale to judge these type of monsters. This is how people are aware of the situations that they are in. In order to escape this situation, people must think about it to themselves. Due to these situations, people of our community watch horror movies in order to simulate the idea of spooky things for the future.
Sam Lynch Milner, Period 6 Research Paper - Travelling Circus/Carnival 1920s and 1930s 05 March 2023 The circus always surprises us "Circus is what real life should be like. It's sincerity, feeling, emotions. All real. There are no lies in circus.
Heels down, chin up, legs underneath you, and shoulders back. Horse showing is a really competitive sport, and there are lots of things that go into a show. Barns spend hours getting horses ready, packing up all the tack they need, and practicing. There are two different kinds of horse shows; academy and performance. The two are very similar but also very different in many ways such as the clothes you wear, the way they’re judged, and how much they cost.
The Story has a man daydreaming in his car, while the movie has a man going on a worldwide quest for a negative photo. This intrigues the audiences with a feel for adventure. The movie also Introduces the love interest of Walter, Cheryl. This adds the extra suspense in the movie. This is because the audience doesn't get to know if they get together.
The sport that I came to the conclusion to use as my favorite sport would have to be Skate boarding. Skate boarding came out in 1958 and since that day people young and old get out there and shows their stuff. No matter how good or how bad you are.

When referring to cosplay, most who are unaware of the art or the community see it as a sort of dress up. To the unaware world, it’s odd to see a grown adult dressed up as an anime character, a superhero or a character from a video game. It’s easy to just explain it as getting dressed in a costume and attending events with thousands of others who do the same. But within the community, within the person, cosplay is more than just a costume, it’s an art form, and for some it’s their life. Whether it is simply a hobby or a profession, each cosplayer brings a different energy into the community.
