From personal experiences like racing dirtbikes I know motocross is one of the hardest sports in the world. Motocross has been around since the early 1900’s. Ever since then people have been saying it’s not hard or all you have to do is twist the throttle and turn the handlebars, while in reality your muscles flex from head to toe from anywhere from 10-30, heart beating out of your chest, Mind racing. I just think if people would take the time to try it or listen to what people say. But the psychological toughness required to succeed in motocross is quite literally mind-boggling.”. I don't think most people know how hard some people can be on themselves. Personally I know if I don't build up enough courage to send a jump I know I am going to regret it forever and I just can't get that outta my head. Everyday forward I'm going to call myself a coward or a baby until I make myself hit the jump. Not to mention how much humiliation you are going to feel if you have people watching you. Even after you send the jump you are going to still beat yourself for acting like a coward, because after you realize how easy it was you just can't get the thought out of your head of how much of a baby you were. In motocross we have to man handle a 200 plus pound bike and the slightest mistake can put you in the hospital or worse. While simultaneously having to think out how much gas I need to give up this jump or how much I need to lean into this corner. I just think there is so much more that goes into this sport than people think, and if they would just take the time to listen to people or look into the sport they wouldn't hate it so
