13 Reasons Why Is Too Descriptive There are many shows that are inappropriate for the viewers to watch. 13 Reasons Why is a new show that came out and it is a big hit right now. Almost everyone is watching it on Netflix. There have also been some complaints on how it shows what Hannah went through. Hannah was a high school girl who committed suicide and saw many things someone should never see as a teenager. She wrote 14 tapes about why she committed suicide and every tape talked about someone new. Those tapes had some inappropriate behaviors shown like rape, the steps Hannah took to committing suicide and people using drugs and alcohol. For these reasons, 13 Reasons Why has scenes that are inappropriate for the viewers and should be watched with caution. Despite the fact that rape is a touchy subject, 13 Reasons Why depicts this serious topic in a visual way for all viewers. Some parents have different opinions on the show. This was the most violent scene because the show didn’t need to give every step to when she committed suicide. Suicide should not be shown, it is enough to just mention it. Parents think that this is too graphic because it shows blood. Whatever the age of the viewer, I think blood is too graphic unless you are told before the scene that it contains blood. But since there is no warning, kids watch it because they don't know the scene is next. Suicide was the main idea of the show since there were 13 reasons of why she committed it. Some people think that this show gives kids ideas on how to commit suicide.
