Haygood, Seney provided a huge amount of funds to a collapsing, faltering Emory College with the aim of reconstruction, restoration, and expansion. A Brooklyn banker, George Seney invested large amounts of money to restore a dying college back to its original vigor.
The sports programs are a vital fundamental in universities as they bring attention and fame to them. Every university is best in a different sport and some even play a sport that others don 't have an interest in like Polo. There is another thing that is important to the sports program which is the mascot. One could say I have it tough when it comes to meeting my parents expectations. Growing up in a traditional Pakistani household with two parents who have worked their whole life to get where they are. My dad had to work hard, and labor away to get from the bottom to the top, he wants my brothers and I to not go through what he did, and receive good Education, because “without education you won’t go anywhere in your life”. Ever since I can remember, my dad was always compared me to my older brothers. “You’ll see, she will beat you both and get top 10 in her class” he would say.
College Isn 't The Only Answer If anyone has ever went to high school, then they have heard about college. Everyone has a different point of view on the idea of college. Part of it depends on how someone was raised.
