Today I am honored to be standing here presenting the Conn Smythe trophy to my friend Duncan Keith. The Conn Smythe is awarded to the most valuable player during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I first heard of this tremendous defensemen back in the 2009-10 season where he helped prevail the Chicago Blackhawks to their first Stanley Cup victory since 1961. It seems like Duncan never has a bad season and makes very few mistakes on the ice. The amount of time he puts into this game really shows his dedication and love for hockey.
By just experiencing what Christmas is lik in different perspectives, can change how a person sees things. Scrooge was able to see what Christmas was like for himself in the past, for other people in the present, and how he ends up in the future through the Ghosts that teach him to be appreciative. When I was in primary school, we were ordered to bring buckets and walk to a creek, fill it with water and carry it back to school to experience what it was like for those in 3rd world countries. Dr. Seuss is known for many books, but this time of year, one main book he has written becomes particularly popular. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas was written nearly 50 years ago and is still very well known today. In its popularity, several different versions from the original story have been put out including a live action movie and a simpler animated movie. Of the three The Grinch Who Stole Christmas varieties, my favorite is the animated movie for a few reasons.
The world’s happiest place, a place where everyone and the kids want and need to go to, the place where families spend that valuable time together. #Going to Disney World is like unwrapping gifts on Christmas with family, friends, and loved ones. It’s a great feeling being able to go and experience that. There’s plenty of rides, games, sites to see, and walking at Disney. * It’s every little kid’s dream to go to Disney World and meet the one and only Mickey Mouse.
Does hearing the tagline “The Happiest place on earth” takes you on a memory lane of the very first day at Disneyland? "Do you know why most survivors of the Holocaust are vegan? It's because they know what it's like to be treated like an animal,” as said by Chuck Palahniuk, the man himself. The term Holocaust has been studied by many different sceintists for over 30 years and The holocaust was a very murderous event killing over 11 million people. The man who lead the very murderous event was Adolf Hitler. In some schools, the teachers try not to even bring up the holocaust because they try to forget about it.

Oh, and the Christmas tree, flashing and flickering with its dazzling lights, The sound of Jingle bells magically ringing. Children laughs and singing Christmas carols. The smell of gingerbread cookies cooling on the counter. The blistering cold of Christmas always accompanies the wonder of spinning snowflakes.
The sound of birds chirping garishly outside my window, wakens me from a deep slumber. Opening my eyes, I see the morning sun’s rays illuminating my room. I’m longing for sleep to engulf me back into its warm embrace. My father ruins any hope of going back to sleep as he hollers upstairs that breakfast is ready. Standing up and doing a morning stretch is when I first smell it.
